2 Star ReviewGood machine but far too expensive.
Strengths: stable, great graphics
Weaknesses: Comparable PC would cost $1000-1200...I like the OS but it's not a $1000 better
Summary: I love the OS stability. Great graphics . Apple needs to lower the profit margin and get competitive with high end PCs...I Should have waited and bought a used one.

Strengths: Fast! Stable. Wakes up fast, sleeps quietly, almost as if it's shut off.
Weaknesses: The 7800 GT fan is rather noisy. Its rather heavy.
Summary: I just recieved mine this past thursday. It is a beast of a machine. I have 2 gigs of ram and the 7800 GT vid card. the card is rather noisy and the fan is always running on it, (not when it is asleep though) but there is a quiter replacement out there that can be used if it annoys the user. This Mac is fast indeed. It is my second mac, I upgraded from a 300mhz G3 with a gig of ram. It is a huge improvement. Apps launch fast and PS CS runs great.

Strengths: The new Mas OS 10.4 Tiger is a pleasure to use. Applications run very fast on this computer.
Weaknesses: I'v had my G5 for a week now and haven't found any weaknesses to speek of. Other that it might be a little pricey for some people, and the aluminum enclosure is very large.
Summary: This Power Mac G5 is a beautifull piece of equipment. Like other Power Macs in the past, it is easy to work on as far as adding or replacing a hard drive, adding more memory, and adding PCI cards. Compared to the other Power Mac (Blue-White G3) that I used to have, this one is very quiet. Apple, by switching to Dual-Core Processors, has a cooler running machine, I am confident that anyone who purchases one of these fine Apple Power Macs will enjoy it as much as I do.

Strengths: Wicked Fast!
Weaknesses: Expensive
Summary: Just upgraded from my G4 800 mhz Imac to this beauty. It is a screamer with 2 gigs of ram. It feels very responsive. It cost way too much but... who cares????

1 Star ReviewWorst mac I've owned so far
Strengths: Bullet proof chassis
Weaknesses: Itself
Summary: I know I will probably get this working after some stuggle, but since the day i bought this machine it's been headaches.

It's been 6 months now and I've had had 2 service calls replacing the almost everything. After all that the macine won't even start up. My ibook g3 is more dependable.

This is the most expensive paper holder (including new software as well) I've ever owned.

Strengths: Stable, fast, HD Video on 23" Aluminum Display, High Quality
Weaknesses: Expensive, No airport/bluetooth cards for the new G5 dual core systems yet
Summary: Traded in my previous G5 Dual 2.7 when the new PCI-Express systems arrived for a Dual 2.3. Even though the processor speed is 800 mega-hertz slower the newer architecture was worth the change. The workstation graphics are amazing with my 23" HD Aluminum Display and the system is a huge step up from my years of Windows based PC experiences. Mac's are much pricier than PCs (a comparable system would run 1500 less since I build PC's at wholesale prices), but the trade-off is worth it. I realize Steve Jobs controls quality by not allowing open architecture (no parts can be bought at wholesale prices to customize a new Mac system), but hopefully this will change (Intel *cough * cough*). The world needs to get away from clunky, bug ridden Windows covered MS-DOS systems and join the Mac elite...
