Panasonic ES8077S Vortex Shaver

Best Panasonic Shaver yet to Date

Strengths: Close Shaves, Self Cleaning, Self Drying, Can be used in the Shower.

Weaknesses: Nothing

Summary: This is by far the best shaver i have used.

I originally had Panasonics ES8080, but it broke and I wanted to replace it, but they did not make them anymore.

I then stumbled across the ES8077s which is an extremely great shaver.

First off, the Wet/Dry shaving is the best. I can jump in the shower with this shaver without any problems.

The best this is the self cleaning system.

After your done shaving, just pop it in and it cleans and steralizes the shaver in about 10 min but it doesnt stop there. After the cleaning is done, there is a built in fan that dries the shaver after it is cleaned.

My husband LOVES this shaver

Strengths: Easy to use. No skin irritation. Extremely close shave.

Weaknesses: None as of yet!

Summary: Originally I was going to purchase the new Norelco, for my husband, however, it was out of my price range and received lukewarm reviews. This shaver was at the top of every rating list I found and I was able to purchase for under $100.00. My husband absolutely loves it (and he is able to find a problem with anything!!) He had a Braun for about 12 years, which he liked, but says there is no comparison in the quality of the shave. Prior to the Braun, he had a Remington which would irritate his skin. He said he would highly recommend this razor. I plan on purchasing another for my 22 year old son's birthday.

I like shaving now!

Strengths: Comfortable shave. Wet or dry shaving. Easy cleaning. Quiet operation. No irritation. Smooth shave.

Weaknesses: Bulky base station. Expensive cleaning cartridges. Pricey, but worth it.

Summary: I have used an electric rotary shaver ever since I started shaving. I have always had trouble with irritation, especially on my neck. I don't like shaving with a razor because I get irritation and often get cuts.

After much searching, I purchased the Panasonic. I didn't want to spend the money, but figured it was worth it if it worked well. I'll tell you, I actually look forward to shaving now. It is fun to use, especially in the shower with shaving cream. I still can't believe you can use an electric shaver wet like this. It is amazing and if you let it do the work, it gives you a really smooth shave. My wife is very happy!

The manufacturer says you should clean it in the base station everyday, but I believe that is a ploy to use the cartridges so you have to buy more. They company's way of making more money. I clean it in the base every 2-3 days so the cartridges will last longer. I just run it under water the other days and that works great. The base station is a little bulky, but I guess it has to be. Not a big deal. I love this shaver. It was worth the money!
