Strengths: Size, price, interior organization

Weaknesses: My all frig was delivered less than a month ago, and already I'm having problems. The temp won't go below 50 degrees, despite being leveled according to the manual's instructions.

Summary: In spite of having repeated problems with the Frigidaire dishwasher I bought in 2004, I took a chance and bought the all frig/all freezer combo in July 06. I couldn't find any negative reviews online, and the sales people I talked to at different stores said they hadn't heard any complaints.

So far, the freezer's doing great. Wish I could say the same for the fridge.

I think it was running okay for about the first week, but after that it just hasn't been right. The temp won't go below 50 degrees on the coldest setting. Last week my milk was curdled.

The trouble shooting manual specifies that the unit must be level or the door won't seal properly and the temp won't be cold enough. I've rechecked the leveling and still, the frig won't cool to the 34-40 degrees advised in the manual.

I don't know why Frigidaire's having so many quality problems, but they have been a major pain in my household. While repairs are covered under warranty, having to set aside an entire day for the repair because the repair company won't give you a timeslot until the day of the repair is pretty aggravating.

I'd be interested in other people's experience with the Frigidaire all freezer/ all frig products/

Strengths: storage space, design, clean looks/lines, price

Weaknesses: failure to keep temperature at safe level; 1st one failed after 4-5 weeks; replacement lasted less than 2 weeks; evaporator continues to ice up regardless of what the temperature control is set up;

Summary: 2007-04-09 21:16:43 The All Freezer works fine. Too bad the All Fridge does not. Temperature rises regardless of what the temperature control is set at (we set it at the max and the fridge still heated up). We've had 4 service calls on the 1st All Fridge but the fix only lasted an average of 2 weeks.

We got a replacement All Fridge and the temperature problems started within 10 days. The evaporator continues to ice up causing the temperature to rise resulting in spoiled food.

Getting a replacement All Fridge was another feat by itself as it took approximately 3 weeks and an additional service call to convince Frigidaire about the problem.

To date we still do not know if the replacement one will work as we have only had it for 3 days. We'll know in the next 4-5 days as that is usually when the evaporator is iced up to a point where it can not defrost properly.

Update: April 09, 2007. The replacement does not work! Service person now says another part needs to be replaced. To date we have not received any calls from anyone from Frigidiare. Warm fridge over the long weekend and more food spoiling. Frigidaire does not care about its customers and they have been told by the dealer that there is a toddler in this household.

Area service manager for Frigidaire has been made aware of the issues for both the original and replacement fridge but fails to sense the urgency of the matter. Customer Service does not even know about our complaints indicating that the Service Manager has not passed along the information.

Advice: AVOID FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS! SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT!

Having someone from Frigidaire contact you is "LIKE GETTING BLOOD FROM A STONE"!!!

Strengths: the thing i liked was the large amount of space as it is all refrigerator

Weaknesses: pc richard had to replace the first all redrigerator i got as it was defective. the second one is less than a year old and it has a defective thermostat and all my food had to be thrown out

Summary: it really is a shame to spend money on a product you think will make you happy and have not only one be defective but have two refrigerators be defective

PIECE OF JUNK

Strengths: None

Weaknesses: unreliable, doesn't stay cool, not energy star rated

Summary: Well, I'm on my FOURTH fridge in less than two years and have spent more time without a working fridge than I have with a working fridge. Food spoils constantly because the temperature won't stay cold enough. I've replaced evaporators, condensors, defrost timers, thermostats, etc. Based on other negative reviews, there is clearly a design flaw here and Frigidaire could care less. My fourth fridge just broke tonight and I'm stuck without a fridge again. Run far far away from this product!
