The sound is loud & rich so this little piece of magic can double up as your home Hi Fi. Another review I read stated that this was not advisable because of the speaker sizes & that the system was average for the price. In a nutshell this system is fantastic for the price. £135 was the lowest I could find from Amazon.com includes delivery & delivered next day. Picture quality is good, unit is easy to install by means of 1 x scart lead to the TV, plenty of speaker wire to flow around your average room, speakers are quite sexy looking (The woofer is forward facing rather unlike others which are side facing) speaker wires, speakers & the back of the unit are colour coded for easy audio set up. The surround sound when playing DVDs is incredable. Excellent piece of kit. Well done Sony. compaqbat from FL Member Since: Jan 2006 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 1 Year	Sony DAV100 Euro model Strengths: pretty good Weaknesses: might lack some treble Summary: the only problem is it may need more treble. i ended up hooking the sound up to it and having in series an equalizer and cranking the treble. it has pretty good bass, sometimes the walls rumble from it - no problem at that. it sound better on frontal stereo mode rather than surround sometimes depending on input. Sounded great playing CDs but this is a start- up unit and it lacks richness, i.e. figh frequency is compromized. pretty good and portable though. 82% of People (9/11) found this review helpful.
