Strengths: Great style! It is thin and light. Large screen has beautiful color and brightness. Good sound card compared to other laptop. Large room keyboard.
Weaknesses: 512MB ram only. No video output connection. Battery lasts about 2.5 hours. The replacement last about 5 hours but expensive.
Summary: This sony laptop satisfies all my need. It is so beautiful. It is great for watching video and listening and organizing musics. I bought this new sony laptop only $1099.99 at bestbuy. It is sold out but I think you can find it at some other store for some comparable price. I would rate this inexpensive laptop 5 stars.

Strengths: This model has wide screen and sharp disign.
Weaknesses: But, this model does no have beam projector jack hole.
Summary: therefore, I satisfy this model because this model has good design, cheaper price, and wide screen.

But, it is so sorry because this model does not connect beam projector directly.

However, I am very happy that I have Sony vaio-note book computer.

Strengths: Superb Screen, Fast Processor, Excellent Ergonomics, Wireless Networking with good range
Weaknesses: Battery life could be better, no included software cd/dvd's
Summary: Sony's Xbrite screen defines this notebook - it is super brite and is also crystal clear. The speed and design of this computer leave little to be desired. I love the appearance of the computer and it has a very slim profile. The slope of the keyboard is very wrist friendly. The 100GB hard drive is fast and the DVD burner is very handy.

The only negatives are minor: battery life isn't stellar which is to be expected with such a bright screen and sony doesn't include any restoration software. You can download the drivers or order the CD from sony.

This is my second Sony FS Series (I needed a bigger HD and wanted a DVD burner) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this notebook to anyone.

Strengths: As all VAIO's are this is a great machine, amazing LCD screen, good configuration (specially for the price I got) and hey its a VAIO - 10 times more stylish then any other notebook in the market.
Weaknesses: It has Windows XP Home. For its processor it is a slow machine because of all the software it loads and 512k RAM. Sony uses proprietary RAM which is expensive. And no Driver Discs.
Summary: Overall it’s a good machine. But be prepared to upgrade RAM and Windows XP to professional. I am concerned about upgrading XP as Sony doesn't provide driver disks. Just noticed that DVD-RW did not recognize some of my CD's, trying to find out why. I have not tested its graphics card yet. Overall I would give 4 out of 5.

1 Star ReviewSONY VAIO VGN FS760
Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I used to lone my VAIO but I havent been able to use it for a couple months because the motherboard needs to be replaced and it costs $1530 to replace. I was never offered an extended waarantly which is ridiculous because I spend a lot of money on it and now they say the only solution is to pay. Because of this I would never recommend any Sony product to anyone.

3 Star ReviewOveral Decent
Strengths: Screen Quality, Casing Appearance, Portability
Weaknesses: Gaming
Summary: I couldn't help but notice the review clearly states this is a perfect choice for the multimedia experience. ?!?!??!?!?! Quite frankly, there are some issues I constantly run into with the cpu and the nvidia go6400 video system. They're annoying, and basically most games have been running horribly, extremely low framerates are the largest issue. All in all, it's still a decent laptop and has a beautiful screen with the richest detail I've ever seen, but if you're looking at this pc for gaming, I highly recomend to relegate yourself to a desktop, it's just not designed well for the kind of stress computer games put on a laptop. Also note: There have been no video drivers for this system for about a year, even though they are obviously needed.

PS: I also find overheating very common with this laptop, moreso than any other. Which in turn causes very poor performance, even in simple tasks as opening the Start menu.
