Strengths: Small footprint, Easy to Clean, Seems durable, Makes the perfect cup from fresh ground coffee. No waste.
Weaknesses: Would like to be able to order an extra filter screen.
Summary: I found my first one at Marshall's and knew it would be perfect for morning brew when my wife was "on the road". For the price it was certainly worth a try. I had discarded so much coffee from the big pot I felt the waste wasn't worth the brew until I found this one. No waste, just shake out the spent grounds right away and rinse the screen and it's ready for tomorrow. The measuring spoon is a bit small for my taste but I adjusted the size of the heap quickly. So I bought another Toastess, the TFC-2 just a few weeks later for the house, in black to match the other appliances, and I'm taking the white TFC-1 to the office. Great product, priced right!
