Strengths: nice cups and decanter
Weaknesses: 1.leaks 2. spills
Summary: I bought the Cooks Essentials Coffee Maker Model CETCM2C and foolishly left it in the box for about a month.

It has a diverter unit where the coffee comes out to supposedly enable it to fill two (included) cups concurrently, and a mechanism to lift the top to fit the (also included)decanter.

Unfortunately, the coffee does not divert properly, and runs out between the cups into the catch tray and the counter, so I could only use the decanter feature.

When I went to use it, the water leaked out from the bottom on the fifth use. I had it too long to return, so I am now left with two very nice stainless cups and a decanter.

I have tried to find the company so I could write to them without success. Apparently they remain hard to find for good reason.

My advice: forget it!
