Strengths: This TV has a truly outstanding picture, on some HDTV proadcasts the picture is so sharp you can feel it. The picture is very bright, sound is good, DVD pic pretty good.
Weaknesses: It advertises input source by number, still not as convenient as it could be, should have inputs right on the remote control. Also remote didnt have a code for Motorola HD box.
Summary: Weaknesses are really nitpicking. This is a great TV!

I was thinking of this TV and the TC32LH1 from Panasonic and the Sony 30 inch LCD. I had seen both the Toshiba and the Pansonic in stores only in the 26 inch size, and they seemed roughly equivalent, and I really couldnt see any differences in the picture, but this one had more features than the Panasonic, the Pansonic looked a little nicer and less techy looking. The lighted remote and having the commericals the same volume as the programs were features I might like I thought, not sure I will ever use Picture on Picture since I dont have two cable boxes but the feature works well. I have not had any real complaints about this TV it has everything you need. When I saw the 30 inch Sony in the store I noticed some Pixel trails, from inadequate response time. The Sony may be a little brighter though, although this picture looks really great unless it would be in the direct sunlight. I have not noticed any pixel trails like the Sony on this TV. It goes on quickly, it has plenty of inputs, the main challenge is getting sources that are good enough for you to appreciate the picture. The signal from my Toshiba Tivo SDH400 degrades the picture pretty noticeably as would be expected since even in live TV mode you can pause the TIVO, therefor there is always a tape delay, I guess, in any case the signal from the HDTV stations are in some cases absolutely stunning. In my area we have Icontrol from Warner Cable which also allows delayed HDTV which looks great compared to the DVD player which on a regular TV was a noticable improvement from an older dvd player. Strengths: Good picture, lots of connectivity options, stylish, very good sound quality.
Weaknesses: Mfg does not recommend for use with computer. DVI connection only on Toshiba 42" plasma.
Summary: I spent lots of time and research looking for a good buy on a flat -screen TV. This product did not let me down. I believe it delivers everything it claims.

I have it connected to a speaker system but often play it without the system and it sound very good. My favorite feature is that I can scan up to seven other channels at the same time as I am watching my current program. Well done Toshiba!
