Strengths: It's light with 14.1" extremely great quality LCD. Hard drive is 60 GB which is big enough for todays. Speed cannot complain. Good looking design. Bluetooth software is awesome! wireless lan is good.
Weaknesses: There are only two USB port and they are on the same side of the laptop.
Summary: I've upgrade to Win XP pro by my self. I have a difficulty to find driver for bluetooth and wireless. There is no recovery disk, so Don't format and reinstall before you make a recovery disk by yourself.

Strengths: High resolution LCD Manitor , Good CPU performance , Great Designing , Good TouchPad , Good Hard Disc Performance , Enough Memory , Bluetooth & Wireless Lan , & in the final : Its a SONY !
Weaknesses: Too bad Graphic Card for this NoteBook , Its slow in OpenGL & 3D Device , not good for Graphists & Gamers !! The LCD dont have X Bright technology ! No TV-Out !
Summary: I like the Designing of the Z1 series , all kind of SONY have good materials ! SONY's LCD dont have any Dead Pixel !!! I test it with 3D Mark 2001 SE , The score is 1534 !!!! Test score in Sisoftware Sandra 2004 SP1 is good ! The Kind of Memory is Unknown & CPU-Z report nothing . If you have a Desktop with good Graphic Card & dont like to run Games with your NoteBook , The Z1 is the best choice for Business .
