 Re oven enamel corrosion, Dacor Customer Care did ... Strengths: Exact oven, stainless sides, legs.
Weaknesses: Oven enamel has corrosion holes in top surface only perforating oven wall. Controls are hard to see. Electric lighters very delicate.
Summary: Re oven enamel corrosion, Dacor Customer Care did not respond to problem and seem to be trying to shake me off. They did not reply for 2 months; then only after threat of consumer reporting to suggest buying new range ($4,500 every 5 years?). They did not offer counsel or assistance.
Other weaknesses: Flames all one size, uncomfortable when cooking with small pots. Burners are hard to reassemble after cleaning. Some areas around burners can only be cleaned by unscrewing top components.
