Strengths: Excellent picture quality for HD AND for non-HD programing. Don't have to compromise for component hook-ups, it has them all.
Weaknesses: At 100 lbs, its a little heavier than other 42 plasma TVs on the market.
Summary: After searching for weeks on the net for reviews and opinions on the best 42 inch HDTV, I found, like most did, that Panasonic or Sony was the way to go.....Wrong! This Toshiba model gives me exactly what I was looking for. It produces a great HD picture and is geared to continue that quality for digital and analog viewing also. Unlike models that may not even come with speakers, this one comes with all internal and external hook-ups that you will need for now, and the future. The Works!!!
It is slapped on the wall with a tilt mount, and all plug-ins can be reached when tilted up. Cost is slightly higher than a Panasonic in the same class, but all the extras makes it a great value for todays market. This is a new model with a new glossy look. Very happy with this one.
