Strengths: Sony Name and quality reputation Weaknesses: Premium price for Sony name compared to Compact Flash, SD/MMC memory or even plain old Memory Sticks Summary: 2004-05-04 19:08:26 Brand new format by Sony, the Pro Duo Memory Stick, it is the size of a postage stamp or SD/MMC media. It is quite difficult to get as it is sold out in most stores and it is not available at any internet retail store. However you will be pleased once you find one in this size or larger. With the DSC-T1 Camera, the pro duo allows the user to make Digital Tape quality movies at 30 FPS, every nice indeed, i do not know of any other pcoket camera that can do this. The product meets all my expectations and is cheaper than the local retail stores. How does the big chains survive if everyone goes and gets this. Strengths: Very Large Capacity, Very Small Form Factor, Included adapter. Weaknesses: Sony cost more then generics. Duo Card does not positivly lock into adapter. Lack of Memorystick Pro DUO readers for computers Summary: What can I say great product plenty fast even for large files, I would have bought the generic versions from the likes of san disk but I could not find anyone who had them. The Sony was in stock and ready to ship so I purchased it at about 30% more then the generics. It works great and since I needed it fast it fit the bill. Great product nice & small and fast. Strengths: Stores about 100 5 megapixel photos without glitches and having to turn over the memory stick. Weaknesses: Price. Summary: Very nice memory card. Stores more than 100 5 megapixel photos. No need to turn the memory stick over as it automatically stores on both sides. Just be sure that this version, PRO is compatible with your device as not all devices are compatible with the PRO version of Sony's Memory stick. Great way to store digital photos. Strengths: Very tiny; Compatible with Memory Stick and Momory Stick Pro product. Much faster data transfer than Memory Stick. Weaknesses: A little more expensive than some other brands. Summary: I bought this Duo Pro for my new HC85 camcorder, and loved the product. I can also use it with my "old" Sony Still camera, with the help of the included adapter. It was very easy to transfer everything from the Duo to my computer via Memory Stick Reader/Adapter, and data transfer appeared to be much faster than transferring from the Memory Stick. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Strengths: I am using it with newly purchased Sony DCR-PC350 camcorder. I purchased it because of negative review of similiar product from SanDisk even the product from SanDisk is cheaper. Weaknesses: A little expensive than same product from other manufacture. Summary: I don't have experience with similiar products from other manufature. But this one one works will with Sony DCR-PC350 camcorder. A little concern is the speed for saving the photo. It takes about 3 seconds for saving the picture.
