Soyo 19" LCD Monitor

Strengths: Nice looking

Weaknesses: None

Summary: I've been using this monitor for 3 months. Haven't had any problems with it. No dead pixels. Works really fine.

I also have a Samsung 912N, I've set them up as a dual monitor on PC. Honestly, there's not much difference between them. The Samsung has 12 ms refresh rate, and costed me $100 more. You can save yourself some money by getting the Soyo monitor.

Brightness unadjustable

Strengths: Good Look, sturdy base

Weaknesses: Will blink several time during boot process, this not happens with other monitor on the same machine; Brightness too high, actually unadjustable

Summary: Basically the cons is beautiful appreance; and metal base very sturdy;

However,

(1)Brightness unadjustable is the fatal weakness, we will never get a mild brightness even if you reduce the brightness to 0 using OSD menu contrl;

(2)Freakily blink at starting up;

(3)Rebate very bad, 3 month ,send remail, no reply at, never buy SOYO;

SOYO 19" Monitor

Strengths: Stylish, Sturdy, Outstanding, Good Image, Reliable!

Weaknesses: none detected!

Summary: I have this monitor since they first came out and have NO problems at all!!!! This is one beautiful monitor and I will buy more SOYO products and about the rebate I did get mine. So, SOYO Products are good! Now the 32" LCD is outstanding also!
