They work well. Non Stick coating is of High quality. Simple to operate. Weaknesses: The lid could do with a hole to let out steam. With starchy rice the starch overflows. Cooked rice (end product) comes out PERFECT every time. Non-stick bowl keeps rice from sticking to bottom and making a mess. Weaknesses: IF you're not a regular/ daily rice eater, this size cooker might be too big for you - get the 5-cup size instead. Summary: My family has been using this brand of rice cooker forever! - approx. 30 years. Obviously, we love it, it meets all of our rice needs, has always been of excellent quality, and is a no-fuss, easy to use, fool-proof method for cooking rice. I would highly recommend it.
