Strengths: Clarity, NiMH batteries, Phone book management, Easy and secure base registration
Weaknesses: Expensive (retail price), CID management
Summary: I recently purchased the Uniden TRU8885 (see my review) base and handset and wanted to expand the system. These handsets matched the ones on the above system so there were no suprises. The handset is comfortable and increadibly clear. It does not interfear with my wireless network. The phone book can be transferred between phones so you only have to maintain it once. NiMH batteries mean the unit won't die in a year due to charge memory. The styling is nice and the amber display is easy to read. Some of the features have a little learning curve to get used to but if you can operate a remote you can operate these. Apparently these can be used with several of the Uniden base units.
These can be found ocasionally 2 for 1 which helps offset the cost. The only small issue that I have is that when you delete the CallerID log on one phone the deletion does not replicate to the other units. Other than that this is an excellent phone.

Strengths: Works great with Uniden 2 line phone system. Registers with base very quickly & easily.
Weaknesses: Learning to program features is difficult. It could be more intuitive. The wall mount bracket is shaky & doen't work well with existing wall mount plates that were located for "flat" type phones.
Summary: I would recommend this to anyone requiring multiple handsets without wiring additional jacks. Most features are very convenient. The ability to program most features from each handset "globally" is very convenient.

Strengths: Very easy to use / configure. It is plug it in and play. Easily to move it around the house, anywhere an electric outlet exists. I am happy and satisfied.
Weaknesses: If the base could be bigger, more swallow, it would be standing firmly.
Summary: I would definitely recommend it to anyone for buying it.
The voice comes VERY clear and its buttons very handy for making use of last calls made and seeing who has called.
Its price one of the best for what it does...

Strengths: Solid build, GREAT signal quality. Built-In ringtones are cool, sound quality is excellent, easily integrated into my Uniden 5.8gHz phone system.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: I have been buying Uniden cordless phones for a few years now and they seem to be the best I have heard/used. I love the design and function of their handsets. My existing Uniden handsets have lasted for years and years.

Strengths: Very clear reception, easy to use menu navigation, long battery life, very durable
Weaknesses: small buttons
Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now and the battery is still going strong. I have a three level townhouse and it has great reception throughout. And it doesn't interfere with my wireless network since it's 5.8ghz. I highly recommend this phone.

Strengths: Very clear sound quality, good value, lots of features
Weaknesses: Monochrome Display
Summary: I picked up these as an expansion to my CLX 485 system. It integrated perfectly with the CLX system, and was up and running very quickly. I use Sunrocket, and these had no problem using the message waiting or caller id / call waiting readouts. Handsets are a good value for the money.

Strengths: Great battery life, my kids have not been able to destroy the phones
Weaknesses: None significant
Summary: I've enjoyed using this phone, with the 7 other handsets in my house. They work well together, and we rely on them for communications in our home. My kids have been able to use it without any problem, including the advanced features (phonebook, etc.)

Strengths: - Good sound quality and feature set
- Excellent speakerphone
Weaknesses: - A bit pricey if not on sale
- Can be tempramental about being placed just right on charger
Summary: I recently purchased 2 additional TCX805 headsets to go along with my TRU8885 phone system. I got them from OfficeMax, which was running a buy one, get one promotion reducing the cost to $20/each. The phones have good features and audio quality. The integrated speakerphones are excellent. My only real complaint with these phones is that they sometimes don't recharge properly if you don't get them into their chargers in just the right position. Other than that, I have no complaints or regrets.

Strengths: Adds additional handsets that work with our base unit ELBT595 for less cost than the ones normally paired with it.
Weaknesses: Menu more complicated than I like, and the light doesn't stay on long enough.
Summary: This handset is less costly than the ELX500 handset which is listed with our base unit, but it works just as well. I love having the ability to retrieve messages and info from the handsets, as well as being able to page the other handsets. It's like having an intercom. This hanset doesn't require a phone jack so you can plug it in anywhere as long as you have the base unit connected to a phone line. I feel that the price of these handsets makes it easier to justify the cost of the fabulous ELBT595 base unit.

Strengths: Lots of features, good range, very good price.
Works with many Uniden cordless base stations.
Weaknesses: The base station was fairly expensive. All extensions must be in range of one base station and you can't extend the range by adding multiple base stations.
Summary: These work with most Uniden 5.8ghz base stations, either single and two line. I got these at Officemax.com which puts them on sale periodically for buy 2 get 1 free. So I got 3 for $80, which is an excellent price for very good two-line cordless phones.
