Strengths: It's compact, sturdy and fits nicely at the dinner table.
Weaknesses: It's not as mobile as some other booster seats and the staps are a little awkward
Summary: I think it is a really great seat for use at home. We have a small apartment and can't leave our high chair set up at all times. It's really great to have a seat where out son can join us at the table and we don't have to worry about setting it up and putting it away with each use. I haven't tried traveling with it, and don't plan to. It seems too bulky to bring on a flying trip, but for a driving trip it would be great, I'm sure.
This chair seems designed for babies/toddlers who have been sitting for a while. It is not padded and does not really cradle the child, so I wouldn't use it for a baby under 8 or 9 months unless they were an early sitter. It's really easy to clean. The straps to go around the baby are a little awkward, but work fine. Instead of going from the back of the chair around the baby's waist they come from the bottom of the chair. It holds my son in fine (and he is a mover) and is probably meant for ease of set up when traveling. My son has already learned to take the snack cups off, so I am going to wait to try them again when I can reason with him a little better.
Overall this is a good product and I'm glad we've got it. I chose it over others for it's versitality (at table or as a "high chair") and because my son will be able to use it for several years.
