Strengths: - WinPCR 2.0 included - Coax in, composite in, s-video in, sound in/out - Remote control Weaknesses: - No digital tuner Summary: Bought this card and another low video card instead of ATI AIW 9000. Couldn't be more pleased. Great software package, no problems with card. Allows should to hooked up internally with CD-Rom sound cable. Picture is fine, and software allows for recording and timeshifting live tv, including a pause feature. Remote is small and batteries were DOA, but not a problem to replace (other reviews said to expect a dead battery). I wish it had a digital tuner, but can't really complain about the lack from a $50 TV tuner. All things considered, five stars. This is a great buy. 100% of People (6/6) found this review helpful. Strengths: DVR ability, tuner and remote for a low price Weaknesses: The audio on the card was not working and no support from MSI. Summary: I purchased this card because I already had a video card and didn't want to pay for the All-In-Wonder cards from ATI, but after installing the card I found it caused static to eminate from all the speakers in the system. I verified the card was not shorting on the case anywhere and updated all drivers and the bios on the computer. These steps proved futile. I also did some testing by connecting the card via its internal connector and external connectors, but all had the same result. I perused the support forums on this card and found other similar complaints, so I am returning the card and purchasing an All-In-Wonder. Another note, when I tried contacting MSI support my e-mails and calls went unreturned. I have seen good reviews on this card and can only guess that they have serious hardware compatibility issues or are of inconsistent qualtiy.
