Strengths: Brilliant sound & build quality, lots of features, awesome looks, killer display and animations, lots of spectrum analyzers, G force analyzers, customize display with your own pictures!
Weaknesses: Can't fault it!
Summary: I am nothing short of massively impressed by my new KENWOOD XXV-01D. Having owned a previous Kenwood receiver KDC-PS911R for five years without even a glitch, thought it was time for and upgrade and have owned previous Kenwood models over the last thirteen years, decided to stick with a good thing, and glad I did.
This deck is very polished in its presentaton. From the moment you turn it on to light up the very high resolution 4096 colour display, to just how customisable the sound and display is, really has to be demo-ed to understand it's quality. The sound quality is one of the best I have ever heared, even on other branded systems with similar setups to my own car!
The downloadable KENWOOD PICTURE ENGINE program from "www.kenwood.net-disp.com" lets you load in your own pictures and scale them to fit on the decks screen, plus lots of wallpapers on the site also.
Can't speak highly enough about this deck. Have a look and listen, I have and have not looked back!!!
