Strengths: Picture quality.
Weaknesses: Loud fan, short lifespan!
Summary: I purchased this particular Plasma TV because it had, by far, the best picture of the other plasma screen TVs in the shop. I fell in love with it and paid the ungodly retail price of $4,500 (which was 20% off since it was an open box). After a short period of time, I started to notice the sound of the fan inside the TV, and it soon became loud. It got to the point where I had to turn the sound up to cover the sound of the fan. Well, if that wasn't enough, just last night, after less than 4 years of owning this TV, I heard a loud POP and the image went out. After reading a bit online, I'm starting to realize it won't be worth fixing, and I can probably get some money for the parts. Now, in my book, $4,500 for 3 1/2 years worth of TV is beyond ridiculous. Yes, the image was awesome, and it was a good conversation piece....but I would never do it again. I'm back to old fashioned TVs until these things are cheap!
