Strengths: Execellent Picture quality. Very bright and deep black. Beautiful Style on or off. Separate media receiver a plus Very high built quality. Glass front, thinnest, lightest
Weaknesses: High price. Clumsy remote. Tuner setup take a long time
Summary: Highly recommended. Will not regret the extra money.

Read manual and review to play with all of the options and turn on the second HDMI input. Upgrade to HD since even DVD does not do justice on this beast. Check Pioneer website for their authorized internet dealers and buy from them to get the warranty and support. Calling around for the best price. If you add the cost of speakers, stand and media receiver with HDTV tuner to the top rated Panasonic, this beast came out ahead.

Strengths: Amazing Picture Quality for HD Sports / shows; Mini Movie Theatre effect watching Movies with family ;Great Sound Clarity;Less Weight compared to Competition
Weaknesses: Can be More Competive on Price ; when changing channels in HD sometimes picture has bars or grey lines or double picture.(To check whether its transmission problem or wiring problem or set problem).
Summary: The Color & Clarity of My New Pioneer 5060 is awesome with crisp Picture clarity and Rich Colors. People complain about Hissing Noise etc coming from Speakers, But I didn't find any.( May be I am Novice). But for a ordinary person like me, its not even a factor. Also, the separated cable box in pioneer is an excellent choice as it will help in connecting all cables from DVD/VCR/PS2/Cable-tv box to that pioneer box which connects to TV . I had purchased a swivel wall mount and its a great addition to living room. Best Buy Magnolia team did a great job in installing all the things and explaining the details.Further Since I purchased from Best Buy - ( To be very Honest, their Customer Service is Great) , I Got Wall mount and Table stand Free along with their package .

Strengths: Excellent picture quality, Vibrant colors and deep black levels, Media receiver connections, Detachable speakers
Weaknesses: Relatively expensive, Media receiver fan noise, On screen TV guide not compatible with satellite
Summary: I purchased this HDTV after much research and have not been disappointed. The picture quality is excellent, with bright colors and deep blacks. This TV really stands out when viewing HD programs, as the clarity is outstanding. Even the clarity of SD programs is impressive, but you may have to sit further than eight feet away for the best picture. Viewing DVD's from a progressive scan player produces a picture that is almost equal to HD. I can't comment on the speaker performance, as my TV is connected to a home theater set up, but the fact they are detachable is a nice plus for those who won't be using them. This TV has a separate media receiver, which handles connections from other video/audio components, so you won't have a gaggle of cables coming out of the back of your TV. The cooling fans in the media receiver may be noticeable during low-volume scenes, and could be bothersome to those with sensitive ears. There are several different pre-defined picture settings that can be used depending on the type of program being watched. Or you can manually set all the options yourself (color, contrast, etc.) for your own personal preference. A nice feature is that you can set and save picture settings for different video inputs such as TV, DVD, VCR. Overall this is an outstanding HDTV. It costs a bit more than others in its class, but I have no regrets about my purchase.

Strengths: I LOVE THIS TV!!!
Weaknesses: See comments
Summary: I have had this TV for about a month and I paid 4300 express delivered with an extended 4 year in home warranty. I really love the TV and the previous comments are on par with what I think(i don't hear fan noise). My only complaints are that the TV guide does not work well with the cable card. I had to set up all the channels manually...took hours! and the stupid info bar that comes up every time you switch channels leaves an imprint that you can see when there is a white background. I wish the info bar can be adjusted to be translucent as I am afraid that it will become permanent(burned in) over time. You will not be able to see this problem unless you are looking at a bright picture such as a snow scene. The tv guide logos on the the tv guide menus did that also and stayed for 10 hours after I first noticed them before they went away. Pioneer said that it happens when a static image is left for a prolonged period of time. It took me a couple of hours to set up the tv guide and the logos were on the screen the whole time. Be careful who you buy the tv from as Pioneer will not cover any problems if it is not purchased from an authorized dealer. The have a link on their website to online dealers. I got it from invision...highly recommend them. Awesome service! Hope this helps
