Strengths: Rock solid IR signal. Clear LCD layout and clear buttons. Is WAY customizable, if you take the time to understand how it's menu and "Activity" structure is laid out.
Weaknesses: I worry about the thumb wheel's long-term durability. It is necessary for so many things.
Summary: I've had it several days now. The PC connection and web site structured programming seemed a little overkill at first: until I understood why! This device not only can contain all the IR and macro programming you expect, but it also can contain up-to-date program guide information! It downloads you favorite TV channels and will display what's playing on them AT THAT VERY MOMENT! (Subject, of course, to the whims of the TV broadcasters). Pretty nifty to be able to scroll through channels of what's playing before you change the channel!

Overall, the setup was painless. There was one glitch, where I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone with a rep. He was very professional and friendly. Turns out the glitch was a product limitation (bug) and that they now have a workaround AND an official bug listing in the database for the next upgrade. All in 40 minutes.

Strengths: Nice weight. Easy to contol buttons.
Weaknesses: Can't add custom macro.
Summary: It sure ends the coffee table clutter. I went from 5 remotes to 2. {My TV switches devices with a 3 stage select. I haven't been able to determine how to do this with the Harmony yet.} I just let the old remote on top of the set to switch devices when I put in tapes or movies. The rest of the time, Harmony is the only one needed. It turns on the TV, Receiver, and Cable Box with one click. It also controls the extended TV guide my cable service provides.

Strengths: light weight, custumizable to so may different devices, user friendly
Weaknesses: menues can have so many functions on them
Summary: I got this remote to get rid of my 5 remotes ( LCD projector, Home theater, TV, DVD player, Home automation remote).. the setup was easy and user friendly. I got all the functions on my LCD projector transfered to this remote(which I was worried will not work). website is easy to use. I still have to figure out how to transfer my X10 home automation remote functions to this one. overall I am happy with this remote especially for the price that I paid for it
