Delsey Helium 350 - DO NOT BUY!
Strengths: Great wheels, nice design
Weaknesses: poor implementation of design, not durable, extremely poor construction
Summary: I recently purchased this bag and took it on a trip to Japan. After about a week, I noticed that the hinge side of the suitcase was falling apart. Apparently, this side is held together buy a vinyl/nylon strip that is rivetted to the two halves of the bag. Unfortunately, the rivets are placed very close to the edges of this strip and it ripped right through extremely easily. Frustrated, I thought I'd just have it repaired under warranty. When I got home and took it to a Delsey repair shot, the Delsey rep which happened to be there that day admitted there was an issue with the way the bag was put together but blamed the handling and transport of the bag and wouldn't fix it under warranty. Afterwards, I went online to look up reviews of this bag (wish I had done so first), I found others are experiencing the same problem I had (check epinions, luggageonline, etc.). I cannot recommend this bag, especially considering Delsey does not stand by their product. Will never buy another Delsey bag again (this is my second Delsey bag and I had problems with the first one too... different design).
