Wireless B technology rather than Wireless G. Summary: 2007-02-11 14:33:19 I bought it cause it was cheap and needed something simple for a computer I use on rare ocassion. To make sure I got a good product, I tried it on my laptop that I use on a daily basis. The installation was extremely simple from the CD. Once I got connected, I found web surfing to be very fast even though I am 100 feet away and on different floors from the access point. The signal strength is much stronger than the strength on my Netgear notebook adapter at the same location. Right now, I want to switch adapters and make this Gigafast adapter my main adapter of choice. I highly recommend it. Oh yes, this adapter is also much faster than the Linksys desktop adapter I use in the very next room. It's noticeably faster... 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: Does not hold a signal Summary: Horrible....do NOT get this adapter. I installed this on several computers in my office and not one stayed working. ALL of them had to be replaced.
