Strengths: Much lower in cost than anyone else's counter-depth fridge

Weaknesses: Diminished capacity (as with any counter-depth model)
Summary: We bought this fridge to replace a 26-cubic foot GE model which we moved into the garage. We live in a condo with a very narrow galley kitchen, but have a family of 6. The old fridge, which was already the least deep of any standard-depth side-by-side, stuck out almost comically into our narrow kitchen. We gained 5 inches of depth with this fridge, three from the actual depth and another two by having the water line in the back recessed into the wall. We couldn't be happier! The LG is so stylish that one of our guests called it a sculpture, and the ice/water and temp controls make a pleasant sound when you press them. The control panel can be locked out to prevent small children from playing with it. The freezer is much better designed than our old GE, with baskets that slide in and out and tilting door baskets as well.
