Strengths: Terrific picture, HDMI, built-in analog & digital tuners, stunning form factor.
Weaknesses: LCD screen surface smears easily, swivel doesn't turn.
Summary: I have been using this TV to watch DVD's and off-the-air HDTV. Everything works as expected, the picture quality is stunning, with no adjustments necessary. Very cool black casing makes this TV a centerpiece of any bedroom or living room. Menu system is simple with good online help system. I couldn't believe how simple it was to recieve High Definition TV channels over the air, for free. The only issue I've had with this TV is a small smear stain on the LCD screen, which I have been unable to wash off so far. But all-in-all a terrific product.

Strengths: Great for bedroom, space saver, solid black to go with decor. Bright picture.
Weaknesses: Wish remote would light up when pressing buttons in a dark room
Summary: This TV is the best on the market. The tv has an HDMI port and 2 HD components, however we are not using any of these. Instead I am using the tv in my bedroom with the Cablecard to get the HD channels with no extra receiver boxes. Technician was nice in setting up the unit for us. He split the line into two so that we see analog stations and then the digital side see all the digital/HD channels. We thought it was handy in the picture settings you can select the level of brightness depending if the room is well lit or dark. You can also set this automatically so the tv changes the level of brightness if you turn on a light. This was really cool so that we didn't strain our eyes to watch the screen in bed due to the brightness. The sound is great on this unit in the bedroom. However, if it was in a den then I would certainly connect it to a stereo system as we keep the volume level up rather high. An added plus is the tv has a sleep timer so we could put it on for 1 hour and know it goes off. It is a great LCD TV.

Strengths: PICTURE CLARITY IS TERRIFIC AND I'M ONLY USING FACTORY SETTINGS
Weaknesses: HAVEN'T FOUND ANY YET
Summary: I BOUGHT THIS TV AFTER FIRST SEEING IT AT SEARS. I LOOKED AT 3 OTHER BRANDS IN THIS PRICE RANGE. AND HANDS DOWN THIS TV BLEW THE OTHERS AWAY. I RECOMMEND GETTING THE CARD SLOT. ONLY FOR THE CONVIENCE OF NOT HAVING TO RENT THE BOX.

Strengths: Great picture, easy to use and hook up, and pretty light for a TV
Weaknesses: It has zero reception without cable etc hook up.
Summary: I have been using it for a couple weeks. I was able to put it up on the shelf by myself - other TVs take 2 and 3 people. It has great picture quality with cable and DVDs. And best of all it fits into our bookshelf which is narrow.

Strengths: Great picture, stunning good looks, easy set-up, user friendly remote
Weaknesses: I have not found any
Summary: I looked at several top brand TV's of the same size and price range before purchasing this one. I am using it in my main living area, for watching TV and DVDs. The picture quality is great. It was very easy to set up. I have it on a swivel stand, so it can be viewed from anywhere in the house. It looks very sharp, with the piano black finish. I find the remote easy to use, with a light button to light up all the keys in a dark room. I have the TV set so the picture automatically adjusts to the brightness or darkness of the room, which is a great feature. I would recommend this to all.

Strengths: GREAT PICTURE, GOOD LOOKING TV ALL AROUND
Weaknesses: NONE THAT I HAVE FOUND OTHER THAN INITIAL SET UP
Summary: I LOOKED AT ALMOST EVERY 26 INCH LCD TV ON THE MARKET BEFORE CHOOSING THE LC-26D4U. MY SON PURCHASED THE 37 INCH MODEL A FEW WEEKS PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. THE PICTURE IS CRYSTAL CLEAR AND IT LOOKS PERFECT IN ALMOST ANY ROOM. MOST OF THE TIME THE PICTURE LOOKS LIKE HDTV ON A CONVENTIONAL STATION. YOU WONT HAVE ANY REGRETS IF YOU PURCHASE THIS TV.

Strengths: Very clear picture, easy to setup, good value, built-in Cable Card
Weaknesses: None found so far
Summary: I had done quite a bit of research on LCD televisions and found this model to be the best value for the price. Having the built-in cable card is a feature I feel that will pay for itself over time, since I will not have to pay the monthly fee of renting a settop converter box. Even with the tv hooked up to an over the air antenna the reception was respectable, though I would recommend using a cable connection. The quality of the speakers was better than I expected for this size television.
The appearance of the cabinet is very modern looking. It would look good in any room.
The setup instructions were easy to follow.
I would highly recommend this television to anyone that is interested in an LCD television with a built-in cable card.

Strengths: HDMI, component outputs
Weaknesses: no PIP or DVI output
Summary: Overall this TV does an adequate job. It has 4 outputs and the HD channels show up nicely. It would be nice if the TV stand came with a swivel. The remote control is easy to use.
