Strengths: Halo & Halo 2 together, includes Halo 2 map pack disc, online/multiplayer support
Weaknesses: Expensive at release, Halo 2 map pack available online for free, released late in system's lifespan
Summary: Anyone who owns the original Xbox is familiar with the signature Halo series. Halo was originally being developed for Macintosh before developer Bungie was purchased by Microsoft. Development was soon switched to make Halo an Xbox launch title, and it eventually made its way to PC and Mac.
Halo 2 is the much anticipated sequel that brought dual weapons, destructable vehicles and expanded online/multiplayer support to the series. Both titles sold extremely well, and shortly before it became available via Xbox Live for free, Bungie released the Halo 2 map pack in retail stores for $20.
The only real problem with the Halo Triple Pack is that it was released fairly late in the system's life for a retail price of $60. Halo had already been made a Platinum Hits value title, and the map pack was available online for free. Also consider that most everyone who wanted these games had already purchased them by this point.
On the positive side, most stores have begun clearancing out this pack for less than $20, so anyone even remotely interested in cheap new copies of these stellar genre-defining first-person shooters should definitely pick this up while its still available. If Microsoft had released this triple pack a bit sooner at a slightly lower price tag, I'm sure the triple pack's sales would have been much better.
