1 Star ReviewHas a definite problem.
Strengths: Price, sound, features
Weaknesses: Inability to continue to work without unplugging and pluggin back in
Summary: Nice system, sounds great, BUT...I have returned 3 of these for the same problem since Christmas 2005 (my son's gift) and this is Feb 2, 2006. Here's the deal - there is a clock on the front that shows the time (of course), well the problem is when you notice the time on the clock has stop, although it is still lit, that means the whole system is locked up. The stereo will not respond to the remote, nor will ANY of the buttons on the stereo work. It just dies, except for the clock staying lit. The only way to make the system work again is to unplug it and plug it back in. This scenario can happen within a few days from first plugging it in or it may take a week or so and after it happens it WILL continue to happen. First system I thought well, just a glitch. Second system I thought well, it is a nice system for the $$$ let's try again. Okay, when the third system began the exact same thing I decided it was time to abandon the effort. RCA has another system with 200 watts and no cassette player for more $$$, but if you look closely it appears to be the same basic system only dressed up so I fear that system probably has the same basic internal "organs" as the 2650. I hope this will offer some guidance to prospective purchasers.
