Weaknesses: Doesn't retain data, constently having to reformat
Summary: 2003-11-25 18:58:24 This is by fare the worst product of the year. I bought this pen drive from newegg.com and had no problems with it at first but then one day I plugged it into a computer and it ask to reformat. I clicked no and tried to open the drive but it gave the same message again "would you like to format the drive?" I had lots of data on it that was lost because it forced me to format it before it would even open. I thought it was just a fluke but it kept on doing the same thing. It would go a few times from computer to computer then ask to format causing me to loose all my data each time. I tried to get a tech support phone # for apacer but they don't have one so I sent them an email with the problem and they sent an email back to me saying that I would have to return it from where i bought it so i contacted newegg but newegg didn't want anything to do with it and would not help me.
BOTTOM LINE:
don't buy it, it dosen't work, no tech. support from company, newegg dosen't accept returns of this product and now that I check their site they have even quit selling it.
I will never buy anouther product made by apacer!
