Headphone jack on the satellite speaker. No distortion even at high volume levels. Compatible with consoles. Weaknesses: NA Summary: Great product for the price. Plugged in to my laptop, popped in my Resident Evil DVD, and turned up the sound. Even at almost max volume there wasn't any distortion and the sound was crisp and clean. It's also great to have the headphone jack on the speaker unlike a cambridge set I owned in the same price range as this one. Headphone-out on front of speaker. Can control subwoofer intensity. Weaknesses: Subwoofer control is on the back of the unit. Summary: For the price, these speakers are amazing. The audio quaity is really good. If I could change one thing, it would be to put the control for the subwoofer on the speaker, or at least on the front of the woofer. The headphone jack is cool too. Weaknesses: Highs aren't as sharp as I wanted. Summary: I read a lot about the Logitechs. Mostly the reviews were on the 5.1 system for which I have no use for. They take up too much space and where am I suppose to place all of those satelites? 2.1 is perfect for me and I wanted the X-340 but my local Best Buy didn't have any on the shelves. So X-220 it was! Got home and in about 3 minutes, that's right 3 minutes I was up and running! The cords where the right length and because of the ackward placement of the knob on the bass (back of speaker) I had to position the box sideways on the floor next to my feet. It's just easier to reach down and control it from there. The 2 little satelites take up no space at all on the desk on eother side of my monitor. At first I thought all of those BIG cords running from them would cause the speaker to be tipped backwards or at least look messy they did neither! I turned them on and turned the bass volume up full blast. Put the speakers volume to half way and threw on a song. WHAM! The whole room was shaken from the strong bass! I had to turn the bass knob halfway down. I've read that others experienced clean sound even at full volume. So I turned it up full blast and they where right! No distortion what-so-ever. I can't say the same about my Infinity's! So for $50 or less I say give these a try. They only thing I haven't been totally pleased with was the highs. I'm use to having seperate tweeters in my vehicle so I'm use to it. However, the mids more than make up for it! 91% of People (20/22) found this review helpful. Full bass.. rich high and mid-range sound. Good price. Easy installation. (Just plug the speakers into the sub, and then plug the speakers into the speaker jack on your computer) Weaknesses: Only weakness I can think of, is that I live in an apartment, and although you can turn the subwoofer down, You can't turn it off, outright. Those low bass sounds travel and bug the neighbors. Summary: This is really the best speaker set I've ever owned. Due to my lack of space, I can't have a surround sound system on my computer. This set can go very loud without distorting at all. Every speaker set I've owned up until now, has always distorted when I listen to it at a 'reasonable' volume. This speaker set is very good value. I would recommend it to anyone who wants full, loud and clear bass.. and perfect treble and mid-range sound for a very affordable price. The only bad thing I can say about this system is that the subwoofer can't be turned off. The subwoofer can be cranked up, and turned down, by the volume dial on the back of it, but it's not enough to keep the bass from travelling straight through my apartment walls, floors and ceiling into my neighbors apartments. It's very easy to piss off about 7 neighbors at once, just by having the volume set to a volume I can barely hear, when it's the wee hours of the morning. With that being said, I would still recommend this speaker set to anyone who wants the BEST budget sound system for thier computer, DVD player, or video game system. Just keep in mind, that if you live in an apartment, be prepared to shell out a little money for a good pair of headphones to continue enjoying good sound after your neighbors go to bed. 90% of People (18/20) found this review helpful. Strengths: excellent sound from such a small set of speakers. you can't beet the price and quality you get for this small of an investment. Weaknesses: none. Summary: this unit has actually replaced my much larger and more expensive home system. you can actually hear all of the high's , mids and lows with this system. and the fact that it is so compact is even more of a plus. I have now bought 3 for my family. i spent over $500 for the THX sound sytem and it blew out in just over a year and wish i had known about these before making such a huge investment 5 years ago.
