1 Star ReviewCrib is unsafe for toddlers
Strengths: This is a handsome and well made crib overall. Sturdy and relatively simple to assemble. Works great for infants.
Weaknesses: I feel like this crib is not safe, especially for toddlers. We have used this crib for the last 2 1/2 years. See additional comments for more information.
Summary: Our crib has the same model number and is exactly the same, but was marketed as the Fisher-Price Emerald Crib-Natural Finish when we received it as a gift 2 1/2 years ago. When my son started getting bigger and his limbs were getting thicker (about 1 year old), he repeatedly got his arms and legs stuck in the rails during the night or during naps. On one of those occasions, I thought he had broken his leg or ankle because he had twisted himself so that his foot was actually facing backwards. This scared me really bad and I put in some extra side padding, but I never felt like this crib was 100% safe from that night on.

Just recently, my son was put to bed and like most two year olds, he didn't want to go to bed yet. He was standing up shaking the drop rail and he lifted on the rail which then fell out of the crib on the floor with my 2 year old son on top. I was right there and soon realized it scared him more than anything else, but again this crib scared the mess out of me by failing to properly secure my son. We had to put zip ties on the rails so that he couldn't pull the crib rail up and off track before I could use it again.

Now, just today, I went to put clean sheets on his mattress and when I lowered the drop side, the plastic part that keeps the top left side of the crib on track actually broke. I did not pull or push hard on the crib, it just broke!

I don't know if I will be able to get a replacement part, because the company is closed on weekends. I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place. My 2 year old still really needs his crib, and isn't ready for a toddler bed. I can't go out and buy a new crib for him to use for only a couple to a few more months, but I really feel this crib is unsafe, and of course it is out of warranty. I recommend looking for a higher quality crib to purchase or if possible, switching to a toddler bed at 1 year to 15 months old to avoid potential injury to your child.

1 Star Reviewstorkcraft aspen change table and crib
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: poor quality and finish
Summary: I recently purchased these products. The crib appears very flimsy and somewhat unsafe. Also the change table drawer didnt fit together properly! I had to use a shim to get the drawer to keep from falling off the slider. I emailed the company and they sent me the "correct" parts but what they actually sent me were three pieces of the table in 3 different color woods!!! I couldnt believe it! My unborn child could have done better. Do not buy this product unless you want to throw your money away!
