Unbelievable price Weaknesses: NA Summary: The problem with LCD monitors in the past was that the ms of LCD monitors couldn't compare to anything that a CRT could. Finally LCD manufacturers realized that there is a small community of gamers who would easily pay more to get a low ms time to prevent ghosting and other problems that plagued previous generation ones. The Microtek 714M does just that for a price of ~ $200. You could hardly get a used LCD on eBay for $200, let alone a brand new one that has a 12ms response time. The colors are accurate and the monitor has a deep black look to it that matches well with my computer that I just built. A+ service, A+ product. 81% of People (17/21) found this review helpful. No Weaknesses: How do you clean these screens if the monitor is in a dirty environment? Diesel smoke and fly specs?? Summary: 2005-10-14 09:27:04 Microtek has a real winner. Height and angle Adjustments for viewing are the best we've seen. We are ordering more. Microtek surpasses the competition with this one. Clear, bright picture. No glare from windows.
