Summary: 2004-07-19 15:22:41 It took me a couple of days and a lot of tinkering to get this adapter to work with my iPaq h2200 pocket pc. The CD that comes with the bluetooth adapter only installs the drivers to get the thing working. It's up to you to figure out how to network your other bluetooth devices with it. Fortunately, I found a couple tutorials on the internet that helped me tremendously with my particular situation (I have it configured to run ActiveSync for my iPaq and even access the internet on my iPaq. I have it setup to use the internet through my laptop running XP, which is wirelessly (802.11b) connected to a router. To do so, I had to bridge my wireless network connection to the bluetooth connection, which entailed running command prompts to force the network adapters into compatibility mode. It had something to do with the adapters being promiscuous(?))
The only issue I have with this adapter is that the range is pretty poor. It only claims to work within 10 m, but this is reduced if there are obstructions in the way. Oh well. For the price, you can't beat it!
