Strengths: Great sound Great range
Weaknesses: Changing the frequency it transmits on requires a sewing needle or other really small object. The connector on the device is smaller than a standard stereo headphone jack (~4ft. cable included)
Summary: We tried this thing out with a car stereo on a frequency not being used by any major radio station in our area. I was able to take my laptop about 50 ft away from the car with no loss in sound quality. The signal only got bad when I walked into my house and shut the door. At a friend's house it didn't make it as far but had to go through a couple of walls. If you're just using this thing to broadcast to an FM radio in the same room or your car, you should be fine.

The biggest complaint was the size of the dip switches which are very hard to get to and require a sewing needle or other equally small object to change. Not convenient if you have to change the frequency often.

Another small complaint was the short length of the included cable (approximately 4 ft) and the type of jack they used on the transmitter. It's smaller than a standard stereo headphone jack. If you need a longer distance than 4 ft you probably will have to get a male/female extender and deal with two cables.

2 Star Review-Sound is soft and muffled, even with volume of CD ...
Strengths: It works (barely). No batteries required.
Weaknesses: Poor sound quality. Must be used in car or within 30 ft of computer with spare USB port.
Summary: -Sound is soft and muffled, even with volume of CD/MP3 player set at maximum.

-Wireless frequencies limited to FM stations between 88.1 and 88.9. If local station reception is stronger than the wireless tramsmitter frequency, the radio will have difficulty playing music from portable device.

-This wireless audio link was purchased at Micro Center in southern CA, tested in the parking lot, and immediately returned.

-If wireless feature is unnecessary, the sound quality of a cassette adapter is much better (and more economical).

-Good idea in theory, but flawed for real-world use.
