Strengths: What can I say; it has a great sharp, clear, crisp picture.It is easy to set up, the remote is something else; it does not only the TV, but any of the other components. It is great.
It also will take several difference cards, including a cableCARD.
Weaknesses: Please note Comcast will give you the card for free, BUT will charge you about $12.00/month for High Definition cable.
Summary: With out the cableCARD you can pick up any High Definition that is being broadcasted over the air, and any thing that is not High Definition has bands on either side of the picture.
On a hole, out of 1 to 10, I would give the LG 32LP1D a 8.75
