Strengths: Intuitive and revolutionary tilt-wheel feature, and a healthy wireless range!
Weaknesses: Slight awkwardness of application switcher button, lack of macro commands.
Summary: After researching a number of travel mice for my laptop, I inadvertently found the Click Plus! and became instantly intrigued by the promise of a tilt-wheel feature to allow left/right scrolling on larger pages.
It proved to be a wonderful bet upon purchase. Already a reliable name, I am enamored with the Logitech wonder. Buttons are sizeable for the larger and smaller fingers, and tracking back and forth between webpages with a gentle lean on the wheel makes web browsing all the more soothing.
The addition of the application switcher button is the icing on the cake, though a bit wonky in it's placement beneath all other buttons in the center, but can be overcome by rolling your left finger back to tap it. Macros remain limited in options, and may not be suitable for command-heavy users, but for word and web-browsing useage, its a wonderful thing.
Clicking can be a bit on the louder side at first, but over time reduces in noise production. The wheel glides quietly and smoothly, and the wireless range, as I have just tested, measures out to somewhere around 6 feet before signal strength becomes weak, perfect for small presentations or classroom demonstrations. Finally, the USB flash-like RF stick is small enough to remain unnoticed, and can even be docked with an included base and kept away from other cords.
Overall, I cannot say enough about the Cordless Click Plus... I've already road tested it, and I'm glad to have it in my arsenal.
