Summary: I bought this mouse because I thought having a laser mouse would be very convenient on my laptop. The mouse works very well on almost any surface, though it wouldn't work on my glass table as advertised. But the real problem is that it is WAAAAAYYYY too sensitive and in order to be able to use this mouse with a laptop, and I tried it on 4 different laptops, the mouse speed settings have to be moved all the way to the very left. This would be fine if it were an independent slider just for an external mouse, but it isn't, it is the same one for your touchpad. When you lower the slider to be able to use this mouse, your touchpad becomes so slow that it is absolutely useless. Every time the mouse is plugged in, you have to change your mouse setting, and while it is plugged in, your touchpad cannot be used. Then before you unplug the mouse you have to change the settings again, because once it is unplugged the touchpad is so slow that it will take a while to find the mouse setting and change it back. I called customer service and they confirmed that this indeed is a problem with the product and they were unaware of it until I confirmd the problem with their technical support team. They refused to provide any assistance other than to say, "I'm Sorry" and offered to give me their worst mouse instead. This mouse would be fine for a desktop, but no one would ever use a mouse this small with a desktop.
