1 Star ReviewBeautifullt designed; poor ly engineered
Strengths: Perfectly matches the Samsung 67 series DLP TVs
Weaknesses: No center support, causes TV to sag
Summary: I have used this stand for 5 months now. It matches the Samsung 67 series DLP TVS perfectly, but my TV is beginning to sag in the center, after only a few months of use, due to the lack of center support.

Samsung is working with the manufacturer to develop a solution. The temporary fix I received from the manufacturer is inadequate, a couple of blocks to insert in the corners between the floating stand and the TV. There is stll no center support, and the TV will still sag. The manufacture could not tell me how long it will be until a newly designed top with support will arrive. I will have to keep checking back. Avoid this product until the problem is solved!

Strengths: Sturdy construction
Weaknesses: No front door
Summary: The package was delivered in a slim box. I was able to set up the stand in anout 2 hours using only the included allen wrench. The assembly instruction is fairly good and easy to follow.

The assembled unit fits nicely with the Samsung 56" DLP TV that I also purchased recently. All in all, it looks nice with the TV.

The only complain that I have is the lack of door in the front. Basically, the unit has two glass shelves below the TV. It might be better to have a door that hides all the cables underneath the TV. This is however not a flaw but a different design preference. I am satisfied with the product.

Strengths: Very nice look. Perfect match with Samsung DLP.
Weaknesses: Too expensive: should be free with TV purchase.
Summary: 2006-04-20 07:33:41 This is a very nice stand. The setup was easy, it had good instructions. It perfectly matches with a 46" Samsung DLP TV, so perrfectly that you think it's a part of the TV. 1 home theater receiver, two satellite receivers and a DVD player/recorder easily fits in, and there's still space for more.

Fortunately this came free with the TV purchase. If it wasn't free, I'd be hesitant to pay >$200 for it.
