Strengths: Quickly and easily adjustable to fit body, especially for 5'2" person.
Environmental and thermal attributes: the recycled and recyclable content, maintains perfect body temperature.
Weaknesses: Difficult to move over high pile carpeting. Works best on low loop pile carpeting like Interface.
Summary: This is such a great chair that I bought one for my computer area at home, which is incidentally how I realized that it doesn't roll very well over high pile carpeting: My workplace has low loop carpeting and my home has high cut pile carpeting.
I bought it because I'd worked 12 hours a day one year, sitting at a computer on an upholstered office chair and it really hurt to sit down at all. In fact, I'd stand whenever I had leisure time and even when eating dinner. The mesh really does help to distribute the weight. The adjustability of the tilting mechanism to one's own upper body weight also helps to alleviate lower spinal pressure by leaning back on the chair, similar to "floating". Ideally, it would be great if someone would invent a chair that literally allows one to distribute all loadbearing spinal pressure into the back of the chair.
Also, I like the fact that the materials are just about sustainably "cradle-to-cradle". I just heard that HM's come up with another chair, the 99% recyclable Celle. I'd like to try that one too.
