(article is in error), DVD/CD drive included! Pretty, too! Weaknesses: Only 2 USB ports, but has firewire! Summary: What a great notebook! Bullet-proof construction (magnesium casing), lightweight, fast enough, WiFi is great at pulling in a signal! At least one person everyday asks me about it. Most are surprised that it's a Toshiba -- they expect Sony VIAO or something more consumer oriented. I put an additional 512 MB stick in (768 MB total) and it helped performance some, but 256 is probably enough for most people. Plays DVDs great, battery life is over 4 hours most of the time. Strengths: Best touch for keyboard I've ever seen on a laptop. Very solid and secure feeling. Size is idea for portability without taking away any features. Instant happiness from initial use. Weaknesses: Only two 2.0 USB ports, but with a USB card it's easy to add two additional ports. Summary: The Toshiba Portege M100 gives you office productivity in the ultimate portable size. With WIFI andinstant accessability, this unit is really your office on the road. 40GB hard drive and great processor speed, I fell instantly in love with it's precision and portability.
