Strengths: Easy to use, makes two flavors simultaneously, easy to clean, no salt & ice needed, well designed exterior, & pouring hole in lids.
Weaknesses: Fairly loud, ice cream comes out very soft – almost liquidly.
Summary: This ice cream maker is fairly simple to use and once you get the hang of it, the ice cream will come out fairly professional. Although having an ice cream maker in general is more troublesome than just going to the supermarket, I think this machine is as simple as it gets for its price range.

First, there is no need for salt and ice. The freezing agent is contained within the walls of the freezing bowls. All you have to do is freeze the bowls in the freezer until the liquid is solid. Then, add your pre-chilled ingredients. The machine churns and freezes the ingredients for you and within 20 minutes or so, your ice cream is done.

Since I generally use a lot of cream to give it a better texture, the ice cream melts as I am taking it out of the bowl. All you have to do is to quickly put the ice cream into the freezer and freeze it for a few hours more.

What I like most about the product, besides the way it matches all my other Cuisinart products, is the pouring holes at the top of the lid. Not only can you add fruits nuts and other solids to the ice cream as it solidifies (so the items do not sink to the bottom), my nephew and I have a blast scooping and eating the ice cream as it is in progress!

Finally, the machine isn’t the most quiet in the world. I would say, though, that it is a little less noisy than having a blender on for 20 minutes. The noise doesn’t really bother me, but I set-up the machine in the laundry room, so the it doesn't bother the rest of the people in the house.

As for cleaning, it’s fairly easy. I think if one washes the parts immediately it shouldn’t provide much of a cleaning problem. As soon as I’m done getting as much ice cream off the parts as I can with a spatula, I run it under warm water and within seconds, the utensils become clean.
