I bought the camera for my son's 16th birthday so ...
Strengths: A low cost basic digital camera - great idea for young kids.
Very easy to download pictures.
Weaknesses: difficult to adjust for low light situations
Summary: I bought the camera for my son's 16th birthday so he could take it to Washington, DC. It was a great camera for the 5 weeks that it worked, then it just quit working. Old batteries, new batteries - doesn't matter - it just won't turn on - completely dead. I returned it without a problem but was leary of buying the same one again especially since it was being clearanced. After reading many more good reviews than bad here, I may take a chance on another one. Either way, I have a Kodak CX6230 that I absolutely love so I definitely don't blame the brand.

Strengths: Sterdy, solid, Kodak name stands up to its rep
Weaknesses: no zoom
Summary: Excellent camera to have around the house. Not so great for high res or high quality photos. We keep it just to shoot photos of the kids or random things, not for vacations. Enjoy!

Strengths: Very easy to use. Excellent pictures. Compact size. Great Price.
Weaknesses: None that I can find. Oh the kids won't leave it alone. It's so much fun.
Summary: This is an excellent camera. Very easy to use. Makes excellent pictures. It has every feature I wanted.Zoom, Flash, and it is compact. I got it as a gift from my husband. Who says 2pixels are not enough? I have taken some great pictures with it indoors and out.

Strengths: Camera is compact and doesn't get in the way. The pictures are a good quality for being only 2 Megs.
Weaknesses: No lens cover, so be careful how you carry it without a bag. The internal memory is small, but I had already planned on having a memory card for taking more pictures.
Summary: I take this camera to work all the time and it works great. I was surprised at how detailed the pictures were (even when zoomed in). You can't be this camera for the price. Don't get fooled into buying the docking station though, the included USB cable works just fine.

Strengths: Very simple to use. Just point and shoot. Download to PC is simple with USB and Windows XP.
Weaknesses: Could use some more on-board memory. Holds only about 10 photos at best quality.
Summary: 2003-12-29 07:35:08 This is a really nice value. There is no zoom (optical), but quality is surprisingly good, both indoors and out. I'll use it for miscellaneous projects, not for any professional-quality work. I paired this up with a free camera bag and batteries for a whole outfit for under $100. I don't think the docking station is a necessary accessory for this, as the USB cable works fine.

After using this camera I realized that its not as ...
Strengths: Light weigth, Compact Size, Very user friendly menus.
Weaknesses: Somewhat grainy Pictures, Not so sharp focused, some bright spots in Picture when using flash, No lens cover, No macro option, Have to buy docking station to get DC-in or Video-out
Summary: After using this camera I realized that its not as good as expected.
According to its Price it is very nice, but KODAK propably saved in options to get that price.
Its a nice cheap camera, and is very easy to use,but its picture quality only satisfies novices.

Strengths: Inexpensive, use docking staion. good images for price.
Weaknesses: no optical zoom
Summary: I have had this for about a months and it workd well for the $100 and under range digital cammera. Don't expect much compared to $200 $300 and $400 ones, but it does the job.

Strengths: best value product at an affordable price, reliable picture quality, easy and simple to use
Weaknesses: 8MB internal memory seems to be too small, hope that they can build it up to 32MB. This will avoid the need of buying an additional memory card
Summary: Excellent digiital camera for my teenager to do his school project and have funs. low cost, good value products. Surprise to see good picture quality both indoor and outdoor. Of course, the best is in outdoor.

Strengths: easy to learn, easy to use, good quality pictures, lightweight
Weaknesses: had a minor glitch installing the software
Summary: I got the camera literally one day before the big event. I have not used one before, so I was worried about learning to use it so fast. It was easy to use, attach to the computer, pix are great, easy to share too ! The software interface is easy to use too. Overall, I am very pleased with this camera and highly recommend it.

Strengths: Great features at a great price. For under $90 (what I paid at Target), this is a great camera. It offers 8MB of internal memory and additional memory can be added. The camera is very lightweight.
Weaknesses: Manual is only written in English. No lens cap is included. Included batteries are not rechargeable.
Summary: I bought this camera for my mom for mother's day. The camera is very easy to use and my mom, who is not too technically savvy, quickly caught on. For the price of under $90, this camera offers lots of features plus you can later buy the docking station with or without the printer.

Strengths: Very simple to use, even for someone like me who is not that familiar with digital 'anything'. Point, shoot and print. Easy!
Weaknesses: Doesn't hold many pictures, but easy to delete. Video is cool feature, but doesn't hold much either. Some photos when printed come out fuzzy. Batteries do not last long enough.
Summary: For the price, it's s good deal. If you are just learning and not a professional photographer, it's a good choice. The batteries do not last long enough. Did purchase a rechargable one, so will see if this is better.

Strengths: Very easy to use. Mac compatible.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 7-year-old daughter and it has been a big hit with the whole family. So easy to use and no bugs with the software and Mac OSX. There aren't many bells and whistles but we weren't looking for any. It doesn't hold very many pictures so make sure to get a memory card with it. Great entry level camera! We have had fun emailing pictures to family and friends.
