Also, it seems a little thicker than some of the other LCD monitors. Summary: Overall, this monitor is pretty good. The image is clear and crisp, and it doesn't appear to have any dead pixels. The response time is noticeably better than my older LCD monitor; the contrast and brightness are about the same. The monitor does have a VESA mount, but the included stand does not use the mount, and it doesn't appear to be removable, so it probably wouldn't be the best choice if you wanted to use a wall mount or something similar. I'd recommend this monitor as long as you don't need features like DVI and super fast response times, etc. that are found on the more expensive models. 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: Not as bright as my ViewSonic LCD. I got the VA721 for about the same price. Summary: I bought this monitor originally to add on to a cracked laptop screen...but when I got it out of the box, I instantly replaced my main desktop monitor instead. I am very pleased with this purchase but advise potential buyers to watch fo rebate offers to reduce costs. I got the monitor ahead of schedule with nothing at all wrong with the unit.
